Organisers of NMNA to honour late Channels reporter.


   
 That late Precious Owolabi was killed with a stray bullet is no more issue ,but the aftermath of his demise which has continue to generate controversy.
While the family of the slain youth copper reporter was solemnly blamed on the ineptitude of the staff of the hospital where he was rushed to a worrying fact that was also acknowledged by the late reporter father
And to add to the unending controversy over his dead a certain Corper also surfaced that his picture has all the while be using in place of d late reporter, In spite of all this most prestigious  award in Nigeria (Nigeria Media Nite-Out Award) has decided to honour the departed soul of the young journalist with a post humour award.
       Speaking on why the late reporter was honour the media manager and publicity of the award ,Mr Murphy Ajibade Alabi stated that the young man died a hero while carrying out his official assignment
" We don't need to be told how he was killed but what led to his death,he was a going man who believe in the profession he practice it passionately and he paid the supreme price by death, with his fearlessness . And we as an organization that always recognized the good work of journalist have to acknowledged his braveness even though it was a very painful death. He will be honoured on the day of the event, we intend getting in touch to his father to receive it on his behalf. This just remind one of Taiwo Awolusi who died during the Liberia war in 1990".
