GOV. MATAWALLE APPROVES THE RELEASE OF OVER 380 MILLION NAIRA AS SCHOLARSHIP, BEGINS PAYMENTS OF AL-IKIMAH UNIVERSITY AND CRESCENT UNIVERSITY DEBTS. His Excellency, the Zamfara State Executive Governor  Hon.Dr . Bello Mohammed Matawalle MON (Shattiman Sakkwato) has approved the release of over 380 Million Naira scholarship for Zamfara indigenes studying in and outside Nigerian universities for the 2020/2021 academic session. This is in furtherance of His Excellency’s declaration of the state of emergency on education on the commencement of his administration and the resolve of the state government to improve on science and technology related courses for indigent Zamfara students to study at home and abroad with ease. Under the 2020/2021 academic sessioln, His Excellency has approved and released N186, 699, 600 as full payment for 67 Medical and Para-medical students currently going into their second year of studies in Sudan, another N24,500,000 for 23 scholars in India and N56,463,440
