According to him, “The NMNA was conceived 10 years ago with a view to carrying media practitioners along as an appreciation of their hitherto unrecognized contribution to the development and emancipation of the Nigerian nation. This, we believe, will further encourage and inspire our media practitioners to better their performances and work ethics”. Managing Director of 24-7 Zinto Marketing Limited, Segun Adewole, said this year’s award would be exceptional, as it would, for the first time, cover a large spectrum of journalists in the electronic media as well as print.
